Bright Horizons Australia Childcare is looking for an experienced Drama & Performing Arts Teacher to join our team. The position is permanent part time. The drama and performing arts program is scheduled on a Thursday each week.
*Additional hours as a Service educator may be available to a suitably qualified applicant
This role would entail:
- Creating and exploring imaginary worlds through dramatic play
- Encouraging the children to build confidence and embrace the arts through, movement, music, song, dance and theatre.
- Creating performances and routines for our children and families to enjoy, and presenting them at our mid and end of year celebrations, graduation ceremonies and Christmas concerts
- Working collaboratively with children and Early Childhood Educators at our service to express their creativity, interests, and cultures
The successful applicant must:
- Have experience working with young children in this type of role
- Hold a current Blue Card
- Be fun, energetic, encouraging, patient and caring
- Be passionate about the arts and have an endless well of creativity to share
