Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their facilities team. This is a 24 month secondment role and the successful candidate will be located in our client's Darwin site office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Responsibilities:Sound knowledge of static mechanical equipment in an operational O&G facility and/or Operational Power Station.Technical support to plant breakdowns and planned shutdowns.Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering technology.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.Experience with mechanical testing and analysis techniques.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Role Type
