The opportunity
Townsville delivers a full suite of seven Australian Red Cross homelessness support programs, providing much needed support for the rising demand for homelessness services in regional Queensland. This unique, comprehensive approach makes Townsville a vital centre for tackling homelessness, providing seamless, end to end services that set the standard for regional support.
The position is accountable for ensuring a high-quality service delivery, compliance with standards and legislation, operational performance, and financial sustainability.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated substantial experience in managing significant change projects, identifying and adopting new ways of working, and securing the cooperation of key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated substantial experience in operational management
- Experience and deep understanding of aged and community care sector
- Tertiary degree in community services or social field or relevant significant experience in field
- Blue Card and driver's licence are mandatory requirement for this position
