About the role
DDCS Lawyers is seeking a talented Lawyer to join our growing Family Law and Estates and Future Planning Law teams. As a Lawyer in our Canberra office, you will play a key role in providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.
What you'll be doing
* Advising clients on all aspects of family law or estates and future planning law
* Preparing and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
* Representing clients in court proceedings and mediations
* Collaborating with other lawyers and professionals to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
* Maintaining a strong understanding of relevant legislation, case law, and best practices in family law, estates and future planning law
* Providing exceptional client service and building lasting relationships with clients
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1‐2 years of experience in family law and/or estates and future planning law (preferred but not essential)
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
* Strong client service focus and the ability to build trust with clients
* Collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Passion for staying up‐to‐date with legal developments and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
