A high-growth Australian business is searching for a commercially sharp Commercial Finance Manager to partner with operations and help shape the future of an expanding manufacturing network. This is not a back-office reporting role. It’s a true leadership position sitting at the heart of the business — partnering with Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, Quality and Logistics to improve margin, optimise cash, unlock productivity and support major investment decisions. You’ll be the financial co-pilot to the supply chain and finance leadership team, bringing insight, challenge and commercial thinking to every key decision. From costing and inventory through to capex and long-range planning, you’ll have a direct impact on business performance. What you’ll be doing: Partnering with operational leaders to drive end-to-end supply chain performance Leading budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning across manufacturing and operations Owning product costing, inventory analysis, working capital and productivity reporting Evaluating capital projects, investment cases and post-implementation returns Driving smarter systems, reporting automation and process improvement Leading and developing a small high-performing finance team What we’re looking for: Proven experience in commercial finance / business partnering within FMCG, manufacturing or a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of costing, inventory, logistics and operational KPIs Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders Excellent modelling, planning and analytical capability Experience with ERP / BI tools and strong Excel skills CA / CPA qualified (or close to completion) preferred If you're a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys being close to the action and making a real impact, this is an outstanding opportunity.
