Desired Skills and Experience
What You'll Do
* Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient assembly to support the chef and meal service
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness by managing dishwashing and kitchen sanitation throughout the day
* Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students and staff during busy meal periods
* Work independently to ensure the kitchen remains organized, stocked, and ready for service
* Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
About You
* Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is highly regarded but not essential
* Ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively in a busy, time-sensitive setting
* Strong communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude when interacting with customers
* Valid Working With Children Check and up-to-date Flu Vaccination records are mandatory
* Physical fitness to manage the active demands of a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment
