In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our people to be client centric, build industry knowledge and sector capabilities to enable differentiation in the market. It includes embedding world class account management excellence into the DNA of our people, building our people's business acumen, increasing the ability of our people to be connected, responsive and insightful and developing a robust relationship program that starts the day a person joins EY.
This role will lead the delivery of scalable Markets and Sector knowledge, to support our people in developing their go to market and account leadership skills as they progress through their careers.
Some of the key accountabilities are:
- Build the go to market and sector capability of our people through the development of an Oceania L&D strategy and execution plan
- Develop relationships with members of the firm's Markets and Sector Leadership team, including Regional Accounts Leaders, G360 GCSPs, Market Segment Leaders, Market Activation leaders, BDLs and the Business Development Operations Leaders to facilitate the advancement of the Markets and Sector agenda
- Drive sector learning and delivery across all service lines in a consistent way that is aligned to the business and market segment leaders' strategy and priorities
- Foster a strong connection with the Financial Services Organisation Market Segment Board
- Manage the implementation of learning across the business development organization and be the Markets and Sector learning liaison in Oceania
- Spearhead the identification of existing sector capabilities and gaps to develop customised learning plans for deepening sector expertise in Oceania
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance market and sector capabilities, ensuring alignment with overall organisational goals
- Identify and validate key business priorities that require learning support

- Demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships at a senior level with a proven track record of success in driving a Markets and Sector agenda and business development.
- Ability to implement large complex multiple projects and initiatives at any one time.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and growth
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to make decisions and overcome obstacles with mínimal supervision.
- Strong influencing skills are required to work with other departments or Business Unit Leaders
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Certifications or advanced training in Learning & Development or Human Resources can be a strong advantage.
- Deep experience in Learning & Development, with a proven track record in designing and executing successful learning solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team.
- Previous experience in a strategic or consultative role could be advantageous, highlighting an ability to align L&D activities with business objectives.
