The portfolio spans social and affordable housing and includes more than 5,000 properties nationally, with a growing footprint in Victoria. With a strong development pipeline and multiple growth initiatives underway, the organisation is entering a period of significant expansion, creating long-term career opportunities within the property and housing team.
Your new role
Due to continued growth across the Victorian portfolio, an Assistant Property Manager is required to support the day-to-day management of social and affordable housing properties. Working alongside an experienced Property Manager, this role offers structured training, ongoing mentorship and a clear pathway into a Property Manager position as the portfolio continues to grow.

Supporting the management of social and affordable housing tenancies
Assisting with resident onboarding, leasing documentation and tenancy administration
Responding to resident enquiries and supporting positive, sustainable tenancy outcomes
Coordinating maintenance requests and liaising with contractors
Supporting routine inspections and property condition reporting
Assisting with arrears management, breaches and tenancy matters in line with policy and legislation
Maintaining accurate tenancy, compliance and reporting records
Supporting compliance obligations linked to government-funded housing programs
Liaising with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders
Assisting with property handovers and the onboarding of new homes as they enter the portfolio
What you'll need to succeed
This role will suit an experienced Assistant Property Manager, Leasing Consultant, Housing Officer or Property Administrator who is looking to step into a Property Manager role within the next 12 months.
Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice
Agent's Representative registration
Experience in residential property management, leasing or community housing
Strong communication skills and a resident-focused approach
A genuine interest in social and affordable housing outcomes
Strong organisation and time management skills
A current driving licence and access to a vehicle
