Job Opportunity for Experienced Refrigeration Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our site-based Maintenance Team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the maintenance and inspection of chiller units, as well as a solid understanding of industrial refrigeration systems and infrastructure within a similar processing plant environment.
This role operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off continuous day shift rotation.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Performing preventative maintenance checks on chiller units and other related equipment
* Supporting infrastructure projects in alignment with scope of works
* Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage and record maintenance activities
* Managing the use and storage of refrigerant gases in compliance with statutory regulations
* Monitoring and communicating refrigeration downtime events that may impact site personnel, safety systems, the environment, or plant operations
* Collaborating with the Maintenance team on initiatives to achieve cost savings and increased productivity for the organization
