Little Mountaineers Lithgow is 45 place long day care centre, with children aged between 2 - 5 yrs old. We are passionate in providing quality education and care and supporting children to feel safe and secure through their early years. We strive to build trusting relationships with families and stakeholders and have reputable name amongst our local community. We have just purchased a new center in Lithgow, and there are opportunities as we work to improve occupancy
About the roles
We are looking for committed, enthusiastic and driven educator for our service. Our hours of operation are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Hours may change in the future.
We are seeking full time/equivalent part time educators, with the following qualifications:
* 1 x Trainee
* 3 x Cert 3 Educators
* 3 x Diploma Educators
* 3 x Casual educators (to join our casual pool)
The successful candidates will have the ability to create a strong bond with the children, the families and the educators.
They'll be a team player, help out with any tasks and think on their feet.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 1 year experience (Essential)
* Working With Children's Check (Essential)
* First Aid qualifications (Preferred)
* Ability to use Ipads and other devices (Desirable. Full Training Provided)
* Have good oral and written communication skills
* Have good Interpersonal skills
* Experience working with children between 2 - 5
* Understanding of the NQS and EYLF.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with daily observations and routines
* Develop communication channels with families, educators and children
* Comply with center's policies and procedures
* Assist with general duties at the centre
