We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our team at MacKillop Family Services. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of programs and services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and their families.
The Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB) Program is a specialist, trauma-safe, and culturally safe response to children and young people who are displaying harmful sexual behaviours. The program offers opportunities for healing, support, counselling, and a therapeutic response, working holistically with all those around the child or young person.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise Counsellor and Aboriginal Outreach Support Worker positions
* Develop and implement strategies to support children and young people who display harmful sexual behaviours
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong working relationships
Key Requirements:
* Masters level qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Aboriginal Studies, or a related field
* Experience in working with children and young people who have been impacted by trauma
* Cultural knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal values and practices
