Bar Attendant
Job Overview As a Bar Attendant at DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront, your role is to create memorable experiences for guests by preparing and serving drinks, maintaining bar operations, and delivering exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities
* Delight guests with an upbeat, friendly attitude and proactively enhance their experience.
* Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction.
* Stock and organize bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables.
* Process payments accurately using the point‐of‐sale system for cash, cards, gift certificates, and vouchers.
* Monitor product quality and manage inventory to ensure freshness and compliance.
* Handle guest concerns and intoxication situations professionally, maintaining a safe environment.
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
Qualifications
* Minimum 6 months of full Australian working rights.
* Located in the Perth Metropolitan Area, or willing to relocate (no relocation allowance).
* 1–2 years of bartending or related food & beverage experience.
* Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
* Strong mixology skills and knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and time management, especially during peak hours.
* Familiarity with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
* Demonstrated integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a focus on the Now.
