Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Fairy Light Installer based in Brisbane, QLD, with the flexibility to perform some tasks remotely. The Fairy Light Installer will be responsible for planning, installing, and maintaining decorative lighting solutions for residential, commercial, and cityscape projects. Day-to-day tasks may involve assessing project requirements, traveling to sites, handling and installing lighting equipment, and ensuring all installations meet safety and aesthetic standards. Additional responsibilities may include collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life and troubleshooting lighting installations as needed.
Qualifications
* Experience with decorative lighting installation, basic electrical knowledge, and familiarity with tools and safety equipment
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety standards
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
* Flexibility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and manage tasks independently and as part of a team
* Prior experience or interest in creative projects, technical installations, or working with lighting design
* Availability to work part-time hours and willingness to travel to project locations
* Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability
* Driver's license and access to transportation are highly desirable
