Senior Associate Job Description
The successful candidate will be working on a range of employment, industrial relations and WHS matters, with a particular focus on state and local government, resources, and transport sectors.
* Advising clients on awards and enterprise bargaining
* Industrial relations, equal opportunity, unfair and wrongful dismissals
* Contracts of employment, restraints of trade, protection of confidential information and intellectual property rights, risk management, workplace safety, and training
Key Requirements:
* Lawyer at Senior Associate level with at least 5 years' experience in employment law
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent work ethic and commercial awareness
* Confidence in building strong relationships with clients and team members
* Ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
* Genuine passion for career development and skill-building in the area of employment relations and safety
