Role Overview
As the Senior HR Manager, you will lead and oversee HR operations across multiple states in Australia. This role combines strategic and operational HR responsibilities within complex project environments. You will be the primary contact for HR matters, guiding project teams and collaborating with departments to optimize HR processes and support business success.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy: Define and align HR strategies within your regions.
2. HR Team Management: Lead a large team of HR professionals.
3. Employee Relations: Serve as the escalation point for complex employee relations issues, providing expert guidance.
4. Client Interface: Present HR strategies and frameworks to clients, demonstrating the company's commitment to workforce planning and HR management.
5. Leadership & Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning, supporting career progression and skills development.
6. Manage HR Cycles: Support activities such as Performance Reviews, Remuneration Reviews, and Capability Reviews.
7. Workforce Planning: Develop detailed workforce plans for project transitions to ensure appropriate HR resource allocation.
8. Recruitment: Lead regional recruitment teams.
9. Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with functional heads to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors with relevant ER/IR legislative knowledge.
* Experience managing operations across multiple regions or sites.
