Business Development Manager
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive growth in our fast-paced consulting environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to build their sales pipeline and contribute to the success of our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the tech landscape, a consultative sales style, and experience in outbound business development within IT services, consulting, or staff augmentation. They will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, engaging with clients to understand technical requirements, and managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to solution design to close.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and close new business opportunities in IT consulting and project services
* Engage with clients to understand technical requirements and assemble delivery teams (PMs, BAs, .NET/Java Developers, Architects, etc.)
* Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to solution design to close
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver best-fit solutions
* Farm your own accounts and expand engagement with existing clients
Requirements:
* Proven experience in outbound business development within IT services, consulting, or staff augmentation (not SaaS/product sales)
* A strong understanding of the tech landscape—Cloud, Data, Software Development, DevOps, Testing, Architecture, etc.
* A consultative, relationship-first sales style with a track record of success in government or large enterprise environments
* An established Adelaide-based client network (ideal)
* Self-starter energy, resilience, and an ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving sales environment
