Job Description
The Procurement Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the procurement of consumables for Salvos Stores retail stores, state offices, and warehouses. This involves managing supplier partnerships, enhancing store ordering and stock management processes, ensuring sufficient stock levels, and monitoring process compliance.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with approved suppliers to place orders, negotiate pricing, and ensure service-level agreements are met.
* Maintain and oversee consumable product catalogues.
* Resolve supplier issues.
* Monitor inventory levels.
* Work closely with stores, Area Managers, and warehouses to manage stock movements, availability, and suitability, and provide timely communication on process and product changes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent people relationship skills and time management abilities. You will be an outstanding written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Solid technical skills and experience using Workday HCM system experience are highly regarded. A current Driver's Licence is required.
