UniSQ Human Resources is calling for Expressions of Interest for HR Assistants with PeopleSoft and eRecruit or similar experience on a casual basis to be called upon to assist the Human Resources Advisory Team during peak times.
The HR Advisory team provide support for all initial contact and enquiry management for the broader Human Resources department. The key responsibility for this team is to undertake relevant recruitment and staff movement activities on behalf of the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ).
You will work alongside a Team of Human Resource Advisors to:
Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process:
* Job ad writing and advertising;
* Undertake recruitment and selection related administration;
* Assisting with managing recruitment inbox enquiries;
* Liaising with applicants during the recruitment process;
* Drafting and issuing of employment contracts;
* Onboarding new employees in the HRM system;
* Document management.
Processing of casual appointments:
* Conducting due diligence checks;
* Issuing of appointment letters;
* Document management;
* Onboarding new casual employees in the HRM system.
General tasks:
* Updating of personnel records and reporting line changes within the HRM system as required.
You will need to be agile and adaptable to different teams as well as work well as part of a Team. Experience in a Human Resources will be an advantage. Training will be provided as necessary, however, autonomy and the ability to work independently may also be required.
