Position Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of a growing business.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations
* Leading, training, and motivating FOH and BOH teams
* Ensuring exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
* Managing rosters, budgets, and labour costs
* Coordinating with suppliers and monitoring stock control
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
* Driving sales, implementing promotions, and identifying opportunities for business growth
You will work closely with the restaurant owner and the head chef to deliver a seamless and professional dining experience.
Skills and Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a restaurant management or similar leadership role
* Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and customer service excellence
* Demonstrated leadership, staff training, and conflict resolution skills
* High level of organizational and time-management ability
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with budgeting, rostering, and ordering systems
* A passion for food, people, and delivering memorable experiences
* Relevant Diploma qualification or higher
Hospitality qualifications or certifications (RSA, Food Safety Supervisor) will be highly regarded.
