Norton Gold Fields is one of Australia's leading gold producers, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational excellence. We are seeking a Mobile Engineering Superintendent to lead our technical teams and optimise maintenance performance across our heavy mobile equipment fleet.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Manager, you will lead planning, scheduling, reliability, condition monitoring, and technical writing teams. You will ensure maintenance strategies are effectively executed, drive continuous improvement, and deliver safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and develop multi-disciplinary technical teams
* Drive reliability, condition monitoring, and defect elimination initiatives
* Oversee planning, scheduling, and maintenance execution readiness
* Ensure compliance with OEM and statutory maintenance standards
* Provide strategic reporting, budget input, and performance insights
* Champion team development, succession planning, and capability building
ABOUT YOU
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering
* Minimum 8 years' experience in mining maintenance or engineering, including 3+ years in leadership
* Strong knowledge of HME operations (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr)
* Experience with SAP PM, AMT, and digital maintenance systems
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills
