APS6 Project Officer (NV1/NV2 clearance)
Overview
This strategic role focuses on developing networks with Australians in the UN and other multilateral organisations across the globe. It involves project management, stakeholder engagement, research and analysis, written reports, and contract management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Design : Develop a project plan for greater strategic engagement with Australians working in the multilateral system. Assist in defining the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Develop and maintain relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Governance & Documentation : Assist with preparing briefs, reports, minutes, user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other related documentation relevant to the role.
- Contract Management : Develop, negotiate and manage contracts and agreements, in close consultation with corporate teams and other government agencies.
Key Requirements
- Project & Delivery Focus : Strong track record in delivering projects to a high standard within timeframes. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under limited direction.
- Policy & Procurement : Familiarity with procurement processes and contract management within a government context.
- Communication & Collaboration : Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
Security Clearance
Applicants must hold a current NV1 or higher security clearance at a minimum.
