Norton Gold Fields is seeking an accomplishedSenior Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a key role supporting the strategic and operational success of our mining operations by delivering high-quality financial insights, governance, and decision support. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and senior leadership to ensure financial performance is optimised across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare accurate and timely management and financial reports, with actionable analysis.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, monitor variances, and provide recommendations.
* Manage costs, track operational KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal controls, supporting audits where required.
* Deliver financial modelling, feasibility studies, and commercial analysis to guide investment and long-term planning.
* Partner with operational teams to provide expert financial advice and foster cross-functional collaboration.
* Mentor and support junior finance professionals, helping build team capability.
* Drive system and process improvements to enhance reporting and decision-making.
ABOUT YOU
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Extensive experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or similar roles.
* Previous exposure to mining/resources, with knowledge of operational and financial challenges in the sector.
* Strong technical skills in financial systems (SAP/Pronto desirable), advanced Excel, and financial modelling.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to balance attention to detail with a commercial and strategic outlook.
