Working collaboratively with Engineers and fellow designers, you will produce detailed designs across a range of civil disciplines, including earthworks, roads, drainage and stormwater, sewer, and water infrastructure.This role offers flexibility of location and may be based in Acciona offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Perth.Key AccountabilitiesProduce design models and documentation using the latest versions of 12D Model and AutoCADDevelop innovative and efficient design modelling solutions, keeping pace with emerging industry technologiesEngage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, cost‐effective engineering outcomesCollaborate with other designers to develop, maintain, and improve design and modelling standardsIdentify and forecast risks, opportunities, and scope variances within assigned worksPrepare design inputs for estimating activities, including quantities and take‐offs as requiredRequired Skills and CompetenciesTertiary qualifications in Engineering or an equivalent disciplineStrong proficiency in 12D Model, with experience in areas such as macro programming, snippet creation, and chains highly regardedProven experience delivering 12D civil designs, particularly road alignment, within a design consultancy environmentSolid understanding of road design principles and alignment methodologiesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levelsExperience with alternative design platforms (e.g. OpenRoads) will also be considered for the right candidate.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
