Senior Occupational Therapist – Fixed Term Full Time appointment until 28/06/2027, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency while the substantive occupant is on a period of Parental Leave.
Position Profile: In collaboration with the Coordinator Subacute Care, coordinates the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of Occupational Therapy services and programs to the designated patients serviced by the Subacute Care Unit. In accordance with WACHS policies and guidelines provides Occupational Therapy services across the continuum of care at an advanced practice level including assessment, treatment, evaluation and planning to a designated caseload of admitted and non-admitted patients, and performs associated administrative duties. Supervises any Occupational Therapy staff or support staff allocated to the clinical area, coordinates duties and manages performance.
Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed-term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process, as well as a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment.
