The Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) is one of the most respected emergency and specialist veterinary hospitals in Brisbane. We offer a wide range of specialist services and provide 24-hour emergency and critical care to referring Veterinarians and the public.
About The Role
ARH Brisbane offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRI/CT radiographer to join the dynamic and fulfilling world of veterinary care on a part-time basis.
* Part-time position - Min. 18 hours per week
* MRI and CT experience required
The role primarily focuses on MRI and CT cases, where each day offers unique and varied experiences. You will be working closely with our Veterinary Radiologist, imaging team, and other veterinary specialists.
About You
The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated to maintaining high standards in imaging and patient care. They will embrace the challenge of applying clinical radiography skills to veterinary patients and find satisfaction in the rewarding nature of working with animals. The candidate must be comfortable handling and working around animals. Strong MRI experience is preferred, along with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience in MRI and CT
* Experience in the imaging of animals is advantageous but not essential
* Current registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA
* Current Radiation Use License
* MRI Accreditation highly regarded
* Exceptional organisation and communication skills
