We seek experienced Carpenters to join our team. Must be reliable, committed to the job and have own vehicle for transport.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and follow construction plans and blueprints to build and install wooden structures, fixtures and fittings.
* Measure, cut and assemble wooden components to construct framing, walls, floors, stairs, roofs and other structural elements.
* Install doors, windows, cabinets and other finishing touches to complete construction process.
* Collaborate with construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to highest standards.
* Maintain clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as Construction Carpenter (Trade Qualification), with minimum of 2 years in trade.
* Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials and building codes.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
* Proficient in use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery.
* Commitment to safety, quality and efficient work practices.
* Ability to work collaboratively within team and adapt to changing job site conditions.
* Positive attitude, willingness to learn and being proactive.
* Valid driver's license.
* White Card (Construction Induction Card).
* Ability to pass Police Integrity Check.
Benefits
$45-$55 per hour, depending on experience.
