Our client, a leading Australian bank, is looking for a Marketing Manager to join its Consumer Finance division within the Credit Cards & Loyalty team. This is a hands-on, campaign-focused role responsible for driving Below the Line (BTL) marketing initiatives to increase card spend across the existing customer base.
You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to design, execute, and optimise data-led campaigns across EDM, direct mail, SEM, and other BTL channels. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong end-to-end campaign delivery skills, experience in regulated environments, and a collaborative approach to stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Select and prioritise marketing campaigns based on performance opportunities and strategic goals
* Define campaign objectives, success metrics, and performance indicators
* Develop communication strategies and incentive structures for BTL campaigns
* Create detailed campaign briefs for internal and external partners
* Collaborate with internal teams (product, compliance, marketing, finance) and external creative and media agencies
* Review and approve creative assets, messaging, and collateral for brand and regulatory alignment
* Monitor campaign performance and provide ongoing optimisation recommendations
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience developing and executing BTL marketing campaigns (EDM, DM, SEM)
* Experience managing creative agencies and executing campaigns via agency partnerships
* Strong stakeholder management across cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, product, and finance
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
* Analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights from data to optimise campaigns
* Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
* Prior experience in financial services, credit cards, or other regulated industries preferred
