What is the role's primary purpose?

The IT & Digital Projects Manager is responsible for the stability, security, and evolution of the
organisation's technology landscape. This role combines the day-to-day management of core
infrastructure and Microsoft 365 services with a proactive focus on Special Projects that drive
operational efficiency and digital innovation.

What will you be doing as a IT & Digital Projects Manager?

Infrastructure & Microsoft Tenant Management

* M365 Administration: Act as the primary administrator for the Microsoft tenant,
including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
* Identity & Security: Manage Entra ID, including user lifecycle
(onboarding/offboarding), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional
Access policies.
* Network Stability: Oversee local and cloud networking (Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls) to
ensure 99.9% uptime for all business units.
* Asset Management: Maintain a registry of hardware and software licenses,
ensuring all equipment is patched, secure, and fit for purpose.

Cloud Software & User Support

* SaaS Ecosystem: Support and integrate various third-party cloud applications
(e.g., CRM, POS, Registration, Competition or Finance tools) ensuring they sync
correctly with the core environment.
* Technical Escalation: Serve as the senior point of escalation for complex
technical issues, providing "white-glove" support to staff
* Training & Documentation: Create simple "how-to" guides and conduct brief
training sessions to help staff leverage cloud tools effectively

Special Projects & Continuous Improvement

* Workflow Optimisation: Identify manual processes and implement automated
solutions (e.g., using Power Automate or specialized cloud integrations).
* AI: You are AI savvy and want to progress the organisation by leveraging this
technology.
* System Migrations: Lead transitions from legacy systems to modern cloud
alternatives.
* Security Audits: Periodically review the "Secure Score" and implement best
practices to protect company data from evolving threats.
* Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external
software vendors to ensure value for money.
