About the role
We are seeking Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists to deliver contemporary clinical mental health services in the areas of assessment, intervention, treatment planning and evaluation for adults with severe and complex mental health needs within a mental health acute inpatient setting in accordance with professional, ethical and National Mental Health standards and legislation. We are seeking Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists.
About you
**will be someone who can demonstrate the following**:
- Ability to build, maintain and effectively manage professional relationships with consumers, carers and families, service providers and other health professionals, including the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to participate in quality or service improvement activities under the clinical practice and / or professional supervision of a more experienced practitioner.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2016 and other relevant legislations.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
