Demanding and dynamic operators are sought to work in a fast-paced quarry environment. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of mobile plant including Front End Loaders, Dump Trucks, Excavators, and Crushing equipment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for daily quarry operations, regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment. They will also complete daily pre-start checks on plant, participate in daily toolbox talks, and develop a thorough understanding of workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Operate mobile plant with precision and accuracy.
* Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Complete pre-shift inspections to identify potential hazards.
* Engage in collaborative team discussions during daily toolbox talks.
* Develop expertise in workplace health and safety protocols.
* Adhere to instructions from Quarry Supervisors.
Requirements
* Experience operating diverse types of plant including Front End Loaders, Dump Trucks, Excavators, and Crushing equipment.
* Hold a valid driver's license and possess a current White Card.
* Prior experience working in a quarry environment is essential.
* Relevant RII tickets are advantageous but not compulsory.
* Demonstrate ability to think critically, act proactively, and maintain organization.
* Pass a pre-employment medical assessment that includes drug and alcohol testing.
