Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Residential Manager to lead an extra-large aged care home in Central Queensland, commencing January 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large team, fostering engagement during change, and ensuring the delivery of positive outcomes.
About the Role:
The Residential Manager will oversee all aspects of the home's operations, including clinical management, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a large team of managers and staff to achieve business objectives;
* Fostering a positive culture of stability, engagement, education, and accountability within the workforce;
* Mitigating risks and addressing clinical gaps through proactive measures;
* Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and deliverance of positive outcomes.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess at least three years' experience in senior roles managing large-to-extra-large homes. Essential skills and qualifications include:
prior experience as a Residential/ Facility Manager;
large-scale leadership expertise;
sound understanding of Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards;
a degree in health or business;
and exceptional communication skills.
