About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional, personalised care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being needs are met with professionalism and empathy. You will lead and support a team of Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants, guiding them in providing safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality, timely, and culturally appropriate nursing care based on individual care plans.
* Monitor and report changes in residents' health status to the Clinical Care Coordinator.
* Lead by example in health and safety practices and supervise a team, offering support and mentoring to nursing staff.
* Undertake clinical decision-making and interventions to enhance residents' health outcomes.
* Administer medications safely and in accordance with clinical standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
* Participate in quality activities to continually improve clinical practices.
* Ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation
About You:
* Qualifications: Current AHPRA RN Registration, Annual CPR certification, and ongoing CPD commitment.
* Experience: Previous experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting preferred, including supervising clinical staff.
* Skills: Strong leadership, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Desirable: Knowledge of Aged Care legislation and care planning.
