Job Description
The Role
We are seeking reliable and motivated Process Workers to join a busy seed processing facility in Toowoomba.
This hands-on role involves working with specialised machinery in a rapid-paced production environment.
You'll be part of a collaborative team, operating and maintaining equipment to ensure high-quality outcomes while following strict safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring efficient operations and product quality.
Your responsibilities include:
- Operating seed coating and grading equipment efficiently
- Carrying out daily maintenance to minimise downtime
- Maintaining high hygiene standards to prevent contamination
- Following quality control procedures and reporting pest activity
- Ensuring seeds meet specifications through treatment and sampling
- Completing accurate and timely paperwork
- Monitoring consumable stock levels for ongoing operations
- Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Reporting hazards and only operating machinery with correct training
- Safely operating and maintaining machinery and vehicles
Benefits
- $32.04 per hour plus penalty rates
- Until around February (depending on season)
- Approx.
40-50 hours per week

Your Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- A current Forklift Licence is desirable.
- Experience with fixed plant machinery in a similar environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork and reliability
- Ability to operate machinery safely and follow procedures
