About the role
We have an opportunity for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Speech Pathology to contribute to the curriculum development and teaching and learning within our undergraduate and postgraduate Speech Pathology programs.
In this role you will engage in high quality research, collaborating with internal and external research partners. You will also engage foster and develop links with industry partners.

About You
You are a collaborative academic with strong interpersonal skills. As a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer you will have ability to deliver high‐quality teaching using flexible methods and diverse assessment approaches.
The successful applicant will have an outstanding research track record relative to their level of opportunity, including publications in top‐tier journals and a strategy to secure (Level B) or experience in securing (Level C) external funding. The role also involves supervising coursework and higher‐degree research students, engaging in service roles within the university, and aligning with our institutional vision and commitment to diversity and community engagement. Other requirements include:
* A PhD in Speech Pathology, or close to completion of a PhD (suitable for Level B)
* Clinical Speech Pathology experience and understanding of Australian clinical settings. Experience and knowledge of the disability service context and augmentative and alternative communication is desired (though not required).
* Clinical education experience supervising students to achieve competency in practice across the lifespan.
* Teaching in Speech Pathology using flexible teaching methods and a variety of assessment processes (Level B and C), including leadership in curriculum development (Level C)
* Research track record that is emerging (Level B) or established (Level C), including grant applications and peer‐reviewed publications relative to opportunity.
* Research student supervision experience (Level C).
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $125,240 - $148,229 (Level B) / $152,245 - $174,841 (Level C) plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is full‐time and will be made on a continuing basis.
