What You'll Be Doing
* Assess development applications for heritage places
* Draft and review local planning policies
* Evaluate Local Planning Scheme amendments
* Conduct land use planning research
* Coordinate responses to State planning initiatives
* Provide advice to public and developers
* Represent Council in meetings and inquiries
What You'll Bring
We're seeking someone who's curious, community-minded, and ready to grow. If you're passionate about planning and heritage, and keen to make a difference, you'll ideally bring:
* Tertiary qualification in Urban or Town Planning
* Experience in statutory or strategic planning
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Clear and confident communication style
* Knowledge of planning legislation and processes
* Ability to collaborate and influence respectfully
