About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a specialist fit‐out team based North of the River. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, offering a great mix of office‐based strategy and hands‐on site visits. You'll be involved in the full lifecycle of various commercial fit‐out and refurbishment projects, working alongside a supportive team to keep projects on track and build strong relationships with our subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Looking after a diverse range of commercial fit‐out and refurbishment projects.
* Enjoying a split between office‐based contract management and onsite coordination.
* Managing subcontractor tender packages and conducting thorough scope reviews.
* Preparing and negotiating subcontract agreements to ensure fair and clear outcomes.
* Keeping a close eye on finances, including progress claims and project variations.
* Working closely with Project Managers and trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
What You'll Bring
* A solid background in contract administration, ideally within fit‐out or commercial construction.
* The ability to work comfortably from a North of the River office.
* A sharp eye for project budgeting and financial reporting.
* Great communication skills and a fair approach to negotiating with subcontractors.
* Confidence in reading and interpreting project plans and technical specs.
* A relevant qualification in Construction Management or a similar field.
