Senior Podiatrist required in a hospital setting in Alice Springs for an immediate start.
Job Ref: 1386319 Salary details: $70 – $80 P/H Plus Superannuation Location: Alice Springs, NT All about my new employer? Our client is a bustling hospital located in the heart of Australia’s red centre, serving a vast region.
Dedicated to catering to the diverse needs of all individuals, they operate as a specialist teaching hospital.
Regarded as a forward-thinking healthcare institution, they deliver an extensive array of services and diagnostic procedures, including a round-the-clock emergency department. All about the role You will be required to deliver high level podiatry services to clients with chronic disease and high-risk feet such as amputations, foot ulcerations peripheral neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease and gross foot deformities.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex inpatient and ambulatory care within the hospital.
This is a senior role where there will be the opportunity to provide clinical practice supervision to members of the team.
The role is multifaceted, including clinical practice, communication, and team participation as well as leadership and work unit management.
The skills and experience I need for this job
- Full AHPRA registration.
- Well developed organisational skills
- Ability to work in a flexible environment.
- Advanced podiatry skills across both inpatient and out patient clinical area
- Experience working in a similar setting will be highly regarded.
