**About the role**
As a Team Leader at Activ in **East Metro**, you will be engaged in coaching and mentoring support workers within accommodation services, developing positive relationships with the people that we support and those around them, and taking a hands-on approach to setting and delivering customer plans through person centred planning.
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday and pays $41.72 p/h (equivalent of $82,700 base salary) plus superannuation, plus salary packaging options of up to $18,550 to increase your take-home pay.
**A typical day in the role may look like**
- Meeting with customers and their stakeholders to discuss their behaviour support plans
- Providing coaching and advice to the support workers that report to you
- Attending team meetings to discuss activities and changes to policies and procedures
- Meeting service delivery outcomes by ensuring customers receive the supports needed
- Daily monitoring of service delivery through computer systems, investigating incidents and working within the NDIS framework
- Participating in after hours on call (based on a roster system)
- Demonstrated experience within a leadership role working with complex care requirements for people with disability and supporting customers with Behaviour Support Plans;
- Understand the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Excellent administration skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with Activ's motor vehicle allowance rebate).
- Dedication to providing leadership and supervision, and the mentorship and development of your team
- Excellent communicator with strong conflict resolution and innovative thinker
- Desirable - Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability or higher, training provided if not already held
