The Role: Maintenance Fitter
MASTEC is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all plant machinery and ancillary equipment, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, breakdowns, and repair work.
This is a hands-on role in a busy Injection Moulding environment and would suit someone with experience in industrial maintenance, light fabrication, and a passion for keeping machines running at their best.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across all plant equipment
* Attend and resolve machinery breakdowns across multiple shifts when required
* Maintain detailed service records using maintenance software
* Support toolroom activities, including jig and fixture fabrication
* Assist with small improvement projects and ongoing optimisation of maintenance processes
* Manage and monitor critical spare parts inventory
* Collaborate with production teams, supervisors, and external contractors
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with WHS procedures
What You'll Bring
* Trade qualified – Maintenance Fitter (essential)
* Experience working with heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment
* Prior exposure to Injection Moulding machinery and processes (desirable)
* Basic electrical knowledge (Restricted Electrical Licence highly regarded)
You will be required to meet the pre-employment criteria, which may include evidence of full medical, with drug and alcohol test.
