Woori Yallock Primary School is located in the Yarra Ranges, offering a scenic environment with a frog bog, vegetable garden, solar panels and shared sports facilities including a basketball court, oval and extensive gardens.

School Profile

The school follows research‐based teaching, uses Fountas & Pinnell for reading, SWST for spelling and Michael Ymer's curriculum tools for numeracy, supported by literacy coaches, math specialists, and specialist teachers in Art, LOTE, ICT and P.E. Emotional wellbeing is supported by a School Chaplain and Primary Welfare Officer.

Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead an office team.
  • Knowledge and experience in human resource and financial management records systems.
  • Sound knowledge of financial management legal requirements and ability to produce reports.
  • High level organisational, prioritising and communication skills.
Role

A Business Manager who supports the school in administration, finance and human resources, works with staff and the community to achieve school goals.

Responsibilities
  • Manage design and production of school publications.
  • Direct budgeting, financial statements, funding submissions and compliance with Treasury regulations.
  • Provide budget advice and administer government grants.
  • Support admissions and registration processes.
  • Provide staff and volunteer induction.
  • Plan and implement staff development and recruitment.
  • Negotiate and supervise service providers and equipment maintenance.
  • Prepare reports for the School Council and recommend operational improvements.
