The opportunity
The Payroll Officer is accountable for delivering effective and efficient payroll operations ensuring services are performed on a timely basis. Working with the Payroll Team Leader, success will be built upon strong relationships with Payroll team members, suppliers and Regis stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver Regis Payroll operations and services
* Provide meaningful reports and analysis
* Implement and monitor effective Payroll processes and controls
* Provide excellent service to and communication with all stakeholders
* Actively support the achievement of a safe, compliant living and working environment
* Contribute to team culture and positive working relationships

What You Will Bring To The Role
* Relevant tertiary qualification is highly regarded
* Experience in a complex Payroll function and team through periods of significant change is highly regarded
* Experience interpreting multiple complex Awards/Agreements and explaining these concepts to others
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Experience with improving and enforcing business systems and controls
* Advanced Microsoft suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Experience with ERP accounting system
