**The Client**:
We're current working with a growing Superannuation company that is looking to bring on a UAT Analyst with experience in Superannuation with work on Acurity extremely advantageous. Initially offered as 6-month fixed term engagement there is long-term scope of work with a strong likelihood of extensions.
**The Role**:
As the Acurity UAT Analyst you would be part of the agile delivery team providing technical functional & process analysis and testing expertise in all aspects of the Acurity platform as well as working closely with business users on UAT analysis, design and execution and providing necessary support.
**Responsibilities**:
- Employ a consultative and interactive approach to gather functional and non-functional requirements, process information and test cases like interactive workshops, interviews and surveys
- Use testing techniques to understand and document acceptance criteria, test cases, test summary reports and assist with operational process documentation as required
- Support the product owners to shape and size the product backlog, using Agile prioritisation techniques around business value, superannuation compliance and regulatory requirements in alignment with vendor product roadmaps and Acurity modernisation (back to core) program
- Provide high degree of quality assurance by ensuring acceptance criteria is met, being hands-on in all aspects of testing, including manual execution, automated test execution, defect management including functional, non-functional, security and compliance
- Participate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals such as backlog refinement, daily stand-up, release planning, sprint review and retrospective
- Be able to articulate and understand all operational processes & superannuation legislative requirements
- Action Production support tasks as needed to support the broader business outcomes
- Maintain a clear understanding of, and at all times adhere to the TSPL change and release management
- Provide added value through internal and external networking, build and maintain healthy and productive business and working relationships
- Understand product and system changes to work closely with or guide user acceptance testers
- Perform SIT and UAT as needed
- Work closely with in-house developers, vendors and other stakeholders on test design and execution

**Required Skills and Specialisms**:
- Experience in a testing role required (5+ years)
- Experience in a superannuation industry required.
- Experience with Acurity is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in leading testing requirements gathering and validation workshops using interactive and Agile techniques
- Demonstrated experience in writing acceptance criteria, test cases, test summary reports and operational process documentation; and working with the team, product owner to ensure product backlog is sized appropriately.
- Demonstrated strong system, functional and business testing knowledge and hands on experience including test management, test execution and comprehensive understanding of TDD and BDD practices, Agile testing concepts, principles and proven quality assurance experience
- Demonstrated ability in creatively solve problems and try new approaches to achieve work outcomes, leveraging a strong analytical mindset
- High degree of skill with data manipulation tools like MS Excel (including macro functions, Power Query and Power Pivot)
- Experience with MS SQL, T-SQL programming
- Experience with automated testing strategies and test tools
- Ability to present information in a clear and structured manner both verbally and in writing to ensure positive engagement
