About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking General Manager to lead the South Australian site and who is ready to shape the strategic direction. Assuming full accountability for the operational, cultural, and financial performance, you will work closely with the national leadership team to drive business growth, strengthen internal capability, and uphold our values-driven service commitment. You will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team across warehouse operations, logistics, fleet and sales while collaborating with stakeholders to achieve shared business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all staff at the Adelaide site (warehouse, logistics, administration, sales), directly or indirectly.
* Partner with the sales team to expand market share and foster customer loyalty.
* Develop and execute site-level strategic plans aligned with national goals.
* Ensure operational excellence across order processing, inventory control, and distribution logistics.
* Lead HACCP and WHS compliance including participation in audits and the implementation of improvement practices.
* Monitor and investigate product wastage and manage stock adjustments.
* Strengthen supplier and client relationships and act as a key communication bridge between the site and national management.
* Coach, develop, and recruit high-performing staff while embedding a culture of excellence and safety.

Key Performance Indicators
* Delivery of financial targets including EBITDA and labour cost benchmarks.
* Reduction in product waste and stock discrepancies.
* Compliance with HACCP and WHS programs and audit standards.
* Staff retention, engagement, and development outcomes.
* Market share and client relationship expansion.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven success in a senior leadership role (e.g., General Manager, Site Manager, Operations Manager).
* Background in logistics, warehousing, fresh food distribution, cold storage, food produciton or FMCG.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
* Experience with HACCP systems and regulatory compliance is essential.
