Job Description AECOM's Cost Management team has an opportunity in Southeast QLD for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join our successful team based in Brisbane. The role will predominantly be working on vertical infrastructure projects with opportunity to expand and diversify into other sectors. This role would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager looking to continue to grow their career working on a variety of projects.A typical day in the role:Lead and oversee cost management and quantity surveying services for large-scale projects throughout Queensland, with a focus on Health, Education, Sports, Justice and Community InfrastructureProvide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams ensuring delivery excellenceManage all aspects of project cost planning from early feasibility through to delivery, including cost estimating, value engineering, risk assessment, whole-of-life costing, and capital expenditure adviceBuild strong and trusted relationships with clients, offering strategic commercial advice and guiding key decision-making across project lifecyclesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and nationally to deliver integrated, value-driven solutionsRepresent AECOM within the industry, contribute to business development, and support the leadership team in winning new work and expanding our client base.Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
