Join the Team – Maintenance Grader Operator. We're looking for a team‐oriented, easy‐going individual to join our Road Maintenance Crew as a Grader Operator. This role isn't just about operating machinery—it's about working together, supporting your teammates, and helping keep our community moving.
You'll be part of a small, friendly crew that values cooperation and a positive attitude, and you'll play an important role in maintaining and improving our roads and infrastructure.

About Us
The Shire of Murchison is located 300km from Geraldton and 650km from Perth. The Murchison Settlement is entirely Council‐managed, including the council office, depot, housing, power and water supply, community and recreation facilities, Roadhouse, and Caravan Park. With recent upgrades including a new pool and splash pad, a soon‐to‐be‐redeveloped Roadhouse, and more modern staff accommodation on the way, we're excited to welcome new team members to help us grow.
Salary Package
* Salary: $92,300–$97,000 per annum (based on qualifications and experience) + Camping Out Allowance
* Hours: Camping Out Operation. Base 100 hours, ten‐day fortnight operation plus TOIL provisions
* Superannuation: 12% employer contribution + up to 5% voluntary co‐contribution
* Accommodation: Partly furnished, air‐conditioned residence with utilities (power, water, gas) covered by the Shire
* Connectivity: Home internet and Foxtel at reduced cost ($15 f/n)
* Logistics: Weekly free freight service from Geraldton

Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience operating graders
* Heavy machinery licences
* A current driver's licence and reliable transport (due to our remote location)
