Where You'll Fit In
The Corporate Development team sits within the Finance & Business Services Group, led by Janelle Hopkins, our CFO. This group includes various teams like Finance, Risk, Workplace & Procurement, and more.
This team helps REA Group develop its partnership and growth strategies to meet the company's goal of profitable growth. Key responsibilities include identifying potential corporate transactions, negotiating strategic partnerships, and managing these opportunities.
About the Role
* Monitor domestic and offshore markets, competitor activity, and product segments
* Assist in proactively identifying commercial partners and acquisition targets, portfolio review, and management
* Investigate, assess, and respond to inbound inquiries related to M&A and investment activity
* Evaluate the viability and strategic implications of potential M&A and partnership opportunities
* Execute corporate transactions and partnerships, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, documentation, and integration
What We're Looking For
* Experience in investment banking (Senior Analyst or Associate) or similar Corporate Finance/Advisory roles, or internal Corporate Development positions
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Proficiency in developing detailed financial models and valuations
* Experience preparing presentations and analytics to support decision-making
* Familiarity with corporate finance execution from origination to completion is highly regarded
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
