**Personal Care Assistant (PCA)**

Anthem Care is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team environment that is passionate about delivering quality care for our residents.

Anthem Care is a unique, integrated care community providing all levels of care—both private and subsidised—in modern, functional, and comfortable surroundings in Bowral in the beautiful Southern Highlands. It is operated by _TBG Senior Living Services Pty Ltd._
**About the Role**:
You will provide holistic, safe, effective, quality and personalised care to our residents which is consistent with our Anthem Values.
This will include but not be limited to:
- Assisting residents with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication assistance, communication, eating mobility and social activities in accordance with the resident’s nursing care plan.
- Providing care, companionship and emotional support to our residents.
- Supporting resident independence.
- Improving resident quality of life.
- Ensuring the residents rights, dignity and confidentiality is always upheld.
- Working with staff and residents from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
**About You**:
You will have a passion to care for our residents and meet the following criteria:
- A drive to truly make a difference in people's lives.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- The ability to follow nursing procedures as directed and in line with resident care plans.
- The ability to report and document in line with the requirements of nursing procedures.
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Quality Standards and Outcomes.
- The ability to work as a team player.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or equivalent).
- Medication training preferred but not essential.
- At least an intermediate level of English communication skills both written and verbal.

Pay: $69,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
