The Marketing and Communications Manager (MCM) will lead commercial communications and demand creation across Nufarm Seeds Australia’s portfolio. This role drives the end-to-end marketing cycle, from planning to performance review, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
Working cross-functionally with sales, market development, and external partners, the MCM will deliver targeted, omni-channel campaigns that engage growers, channel partners, and consultants. These campaigns will support face-to-face sales efforts while building scalable, digital relationships through platforms like Marketing Cloud.
The MCM will also enhance in-field customer experiences, manage key external events, and translate market priorities into impactful content and campaigns. With ownership of the marketing funnel, the role focuses on building brand awareness and preference to strengthen Nuseed’s competitive position.
Additionally, the MCM will support the General Manager in developing internal and external communications that align with business strategy.
How You’ll Help Us Grow
- Campaign Design – Develop targeted, insight-driven campaigns to generate demand across priority products and segments, incorporating creative offers and services to support brand positioning.
- Cross-Functional Planning – Collaborate with market development and sales teams to translate campaign strategies into actionable tactics, using both digital and traditional mass marketing channels.
- CRM & Digital Engagement – Strengthen grower relationships by leveraging CRM and electronic direct marketing tools to automate and optimise communications.
- Marketing Funnel Ownership – Manage the marketing funnel and campaign spend prioritization, working closely with the Product Marketing Manager to assess brand and funnel performance across platforms.
- Budget Management – Oversee campaign budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and maximum return on investment.
- Performance Measurement – Evaluate campaign effectiveness using leading and lagging indicators, applying insights to continuously improve future campaign cycles.
- Field & Event Support – Support in-field activities led by market development and sales teams and take ownership of brand events as part of integrated campaign execution.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Mandatory: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing with 5+ years experience in a similar or equivalent role
- Desirable: Experience in Australian Agriculture
