Head of Department – Anaesthetics
Lead a professional, committed anaesthetic team. Provide strategic direction, clinical leadership, and mentoring to junior staff, while maintaining high standards in perioperative, obstetric, and emergency anaesthesia.
Consultant Anaesthetist
Deliver excellent patient care across a wide range of elective and emergency procedures. Collaborate with colleagues across surgery, obstetrics, critical care, and more in a truly multidisciplinary environment.
* Both roles are actively involved in the education and supervision of junior doctors and medical students, clinical governance, and quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
* Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) – Essential
* Demonstrated clinical leadership and team-building capabilities
* Commitment to teaching, training, and continuous improvement
