Senior Product Manager Climate Solutions

The Specialty Products & Platforms crew looks after our specialty products and experiences (including climate solutions) with an aim to create the blueprint to unlock all Australians' future home ownership dreams.
We look after a wide range of products and solutions, from government schemes to the Home Energy Upgrade proposition to construction loan products.
This is a 12 months max term / secondment opportunity
Do work that matters
Reporting to a Chapter Lead and the Product Owner of the 'Climate Solutions and Simplification' squad, this role is responsible for playing a key part in delivering the Home Buying Climate Strategy, focusing on:
Supporting the electrification of homes to help Australia decarbonise
Raising awareness and helping customers improve the resilience of their homes against natural hazards (e.g. bushfires, floods, cyclones)
Customer focus
Inform customers of the most impactful ways they can improve their home
Help them better understand their property's sustainability and resilience
Support them in making the recommended changes
To achieve this, you will
Evaluate ambiguous situations and reach informed decisions with confidence
Resolve complex issues by clearly defining problems and formulating solutions that meet DVF principles
Develop analysis that underpins recommendations
Craft compelling narratives to influence diverse stakeholder groups
Clearly articulate the support required and use effective strategies and techniques to elevate as needed
Keep initiatives progressing at pace
Additionally, you will
Understand and represent the voice of the customer, be across and pre-empt the impact of macro, micro and product landscapes
Understand the market dynamics and customer motivations driving uptake of sustainable products
Evaluate business, technical, and financial impacts of initiatives to achieve optimal outcomes
Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks across the business
Play a leading role across the broader team, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring all CBA values are demonstrated at all times
We want to hear from you if you have
An interest in sustainability and climate solutions, and a desire to make a positive impact for our customers with innovative solutions
Advanced ability to drive outcomes and execute on a roadmap of initiatives
Proven capability in analysing and uplifting key customer journeys and processes, preferably in a digital environment and across technology change
Strong customer focus, always starting with and anchoring back to the customer outcome
Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong commercial acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to build and leverage strong stakeholder relationships
Relevant tertiary qualification in Climate, Business, Finance, Digital Product or similar
We operate in a hybrid working environment, meaning a blend between being in the office and working remote.
